Delete your Markhora account

Two ways to do it — from inside the app, or by asking us.

From inside the app

This is the fastest route and takes effect immediately.

  1. Open Markhora and tap your profile photo, top right.
  2. Choose Account.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
  4. Type DELETE to confirm. Your account is removed and you are signed out on every device.

This cannot be undone. Deleting your account does not delete your employer's records of your work — the job and sales information in their scheduling system is theirs and stays there.

If you cannot sign in

Email privacy@division1roofing.com from the address on your account, with the subject Delete my account. Tell us the company you work for. We will confirm the request and delete the account within 30 days, usually within a few days.

If you no longer have access to that email address, we may ask your employer's administrator to confirm who you are before deleting anything — otherwise anyone could delete someone else's account.

What happens to your information

Deleted

  • Your name, email address and phone number
  • Your profile photo
  • Your sign-in credentials — you can no longer log in
  • Your saved devices and notification settings
  • Your emoji reactions
  • Your link to your company's scheduling system

Kept

  • Messages you posted, shown as from a deleted user
  • Files and photos you shared in channels
  • Your company's own job, appointment and sales records

Messages stay because they are part of other people's conversations — removing one side of a thread months later leaves your colleagues with an unreadable record of decisions about live jobs. Once your account is deleted, nothing in those messages identifies you: they appear as posted by a deleted user.

If you want your messages removed too, ask your employer's administrator. They can delete individual messages, and it is their call because the conversations are company records.

Account owners

If you are the owner of your company's Markhora account, you cannot delete yourself while you hold that role — it would leave the company with no one able to manage it. Transfer ownership to another administrator first, then delete your account.

Closing the whole company account

To close your company's account entirely and have all of its information deleted, the owner should email privacy@division1roofing.com. Everything is deleted within 90 days of the account closing.
